This morning we headed up to Dublin for my nephew Scott’s First Communion Ceremony in St. Kevins, Kilnamanagh. The Parish Priest made it clear that no pictures were to be taken during the mass, so I had to wait until after the ceremony to grab a few shots. Luckily I had done some last week at my sisters.
Hard to believe how quick they grow up, Scott looked very handsome in his sharp suit as did all he kids. He is defiantly a credit to his mammy Jennifer who did all the hard work to organize the day.
Apart from the usual assortment of family and friends in attendance a special guest, Scott’s great granny arrived for his special day.
After the Mass it was off to Joel’s restaurant for a welcome lunch, I think that everyone was famished by the time we got there. In all a great day was had by all and congratulations to Scott on his big day. I know who to ask now if I need a loan for a new Lense or something.

Yes, you could cut yourself on a suit as sharp as that one, if you weren’t careful!!

He looks very model-ish! My daughter and son also had a big deal First Communion – quite a step, although my daughter said she would have preferred a bat mitzvah because of all the gifts and money!
