I have been following the ‘Monochrome Madness Challenge’, for the past five weeks over on Leanne Cole‘s blog. Each week submissions are invited to be included in the challenge. The standard is exceptionally high with stunning images from all contributors. I must admit, Leanne’s blog was probably one of the first blogs I followed when I began my blogging journey. Not only is she a fantastic photographer, but a great tutor as well. So this week I decided to bite the bullet and join in the fun.
My shot was taken at a shrine near the medieval church in Dunfierth, Co. Kildare. There is just something about these statues that gets to me, so when I noticed the shrine I just had to take a few shots. This was the first image from the batch to be processed and I hope to have the rest finished shortly. So if you like this image or even Mono shots in general why not head on over to Leanne’s blog and check out the variety of stunning B&W images from this weeks,
‘Monochrome Madness Challenge‘,
