Re-work Wednesday 22

Lanzarote Tower

Just to take a short break from the Glendalough series I chose an image from last years family vacation in Costa Teguise on the island of Lanzarote. You can see the original image and more HERE & HERE. Its purpose has still to this date evaded me. Was it a part of a watchtower system used to watch out for marauding pirates or something else. Whatever its use, it certainly grabbed my attention.

Editing was quite simple, just a B&W conversion in CS6 with a vignette for effect. Lanzarote is a gorgeous island with plenty to explore. Unfortunately on my last trip, I was unable to do much exploring, so perhaps next time. Well that’s it for this weeks Re-work, I hope you enjoyed it. I have to get back to editing more images from Glendalough which I hope to post later today

To see more of these images, why not visit my Website or join me on Facebook or Twitter.

This makes me want to go back to a week I spent in Cape Cod searching light houses… interesting that there is no sign or description what it is! I like the B&W
