The Ruinhunter is back, with a Medieval Adventure.

I cant believe its been over three months since I last posted. I would love to say that I got lost on one of my Ruin hunts and ended up having an adventure, but sadly that was not the case. Thank you to those whom kept in touch, you know who you are and I greatly appreciated it. Between my new found love of Kettlebell training to improve my fitness and a few other issues along the way, I found it increasingly more difficult to get out shooting. But the good news is, ‘I’m Back’, Stronger and raring to go. So you can expect to see a hell of a lot more from me within the next week or so. I have got three months of exploring to catch up on and some really cool and interesting sites lined up to explore and share with you.

So to kick of my fresh start, I would like to share with you a guest post I recently did for my good pal and fellow Irish blogger, Ali Isaac Storyteller. It covers a period of my life prior to my photography as a medieval re-enactor and hopefully gives you a little taste of what life was like back then and of course the weapons used. For those of you whom dont already know Ali, we have been following each other for some time now, and both share a love for Ireland with its ancient history, mythology and lore.
