Kildare Farm BBQ

Kildare Farm BBQ (1)

Last Saturday, we went down to to the annual BBQ at Kildare Farm. Some of you might have seen recent posts from here. It is basically an open farm and shop, which we regularly use to stock up the fridge with. Sadly we missed the event last year due to prior commitments, so when I heard about it this year I made sure I was free. On any given day Kildare farm is a great place to visit, but today was extra special. Their were various animal mascots strolling around, surprisingly Dylan took a liking to the Lion whom he proceeded to stalk for the day, sharing a roar every time they met. There were the usual animals to see and feed, along with a well stocked BBQ to keep everyone well fed. Then their was the train ride around the farm which helped when feet became too sore to walk any-more. Also on for the day was face-painting, puppet shows, children’s pottery classes and a busy Ice-cream  and Candy-floss stand. The entire event was free of charge including a never ending supply of food. Daddy only had to dip into his pocket for Ice-creams and train rides. If you get a chance check out their Facebook Page or drop in for some good food and enjoy the farm.

On a totally different note, I recently sent you a personal email re joining in a Writers’ Blog Tour – it would be fantastic if you were willing to join in. All the best Rachael

    • Hi Rachael, it sure was a great day, even the weather was good. I just checked for that email, as I dont recall seeing it. I checked my blocked folder aswell with no sign, perhaps you might be so good to send it on again. It sounds interesting. If I get the time I would be happy to contribute 🙂
