Re-work Wednesday 44

This week I have something completely new, and outside the box. I do use photoshop for basic editing, but have never realy explored much of the wonderful creative jobs it can do. So recently Ryan uploaded a video of himself busting some serious Jedi moves with his lightsaber, to a Disney website in the hope that it would be selected for enhancement. Basically they would add a real lightsaber effect to the video. So the last few days he has been checking his email every 5 minutes to see if he was picked. As a father the look of disappointment on his face was too much so I decided to get him the next best thing. Armed with a recent Jediesque image I experimented with adding a REAL lightsaber effect using CS6. There are numerous videos and tutorials which can be found online to do this, so I wont bore you with the process. Some are good and some not so much. But a little experimentation got me on the right track. The next thing was the Ryan Wars logo. This was another first for me as I had a go using the 3D tool. Ok, so the color might not be a perfect match, but this re-work was about putting a smile on a kids face. So misson completed. Now its done, I reckon it wont be the last Jedi inspired shot I do, for some reason. So until next time, ‘May the force be with you’, 🙂
