Its really hard to believe that our youngest son Dylan just went off to his first day of school. Its a bit of a milestone for us and even though i took the day of work, it will be strange more so for Hazel as there will be no one else at home after the three kids go to school each morning. Time really flies when you have kids, they seem to grow up so fast. Our eldest Ryan is going to be 10 next month, Ava is 6 going on 35, and could buy and sell the lot of us. Then the little man himself, 4 years old and he strolled into his new class room like it was nothing. At least i got a big thumbs up before he went. It kinda makes you feel old, when you see them going through life, hell next thing I know, Ill head out for a pint on a Friday night and the three off them will be there with their mates propping up the bar 🙂 Lets hope he does as well as the other two and does not get into too much trouble on his first day!!!

what a cute kid!! Good Luck, Dylan! Just remember these three things and you will be fine:
1. Listen to Miles Davis
2. Don’t worry about math.
3. Paint as often as possible.
4. See No.#1…

Sound advice Daniel, Dylan is more of a Slayerfan, but perhaps a bit of MD might soothe the beast. After all it worked for me 🙂

If he is a Slayer fan then I suggest he listen to “Disciple”… it will teach him what Miles can’t.. 😉

What a cutie! Today, my daughter is starting her first day in her new job teaching junior infants. It was like yesterday when she was in the same position as Dylan. Best of luck to all!

Nothing quite like those early school photos. They bring a tear to the eyes of loving parents and grandparents, evoke a certain time and place, and serve as markers of our passage through life.
They also embarrass the hell out of the kids when they got older, and you show them to their first girlfriends or boyfriends!
A great selection Ed, I am sure you are as proud as punch.
Best wishes, Pete.

May his scholastic carear be crowned with success. OH, by the way, before you can realise it you two will be “orphaned parents”, they are grown up and independent and out of the house, so enjoy the three to the utmost fullest while you can.

Its tough when the littlest one finally starts school and suddenly has a life of their own that doesnt involve you! Especially for mums, who usually do the stay at home bit. I hope He has a great day, and Hazel finally gets some well earned me-time. All the best to your lovely family! 😊
